A.P. 1 (Dec. 1 – 20, 2018)
The group woke up this morning and had breakfast at the hotel in Penitentes. Later, they took all their gear and went to Punta de Vacas, where the trailhead is located.
They had their first stop at the rangers’ office to showed them the permits to enter the Aconcagua park. After this, it was time to begin the hike!
The expedition went to Pampa de Leñas and will spend the night there. Tomorrow they will continue the hike along the trail that will take them to Plaza Argentina Base Camp.
