Jacob and his crew just left base camp, headed for Camp I (16,000 ft). Jacob called before hitting the trail and said everything is fine up there. They rested and have already carried some gear to a cache in Camp I. They are going to begin the moving- resting-carrying- moving system now, to progress from BC to High Camp, from where they will go to the summit and then back to High Camp. But it´s a long way to the top yet. I will send more dispatches now that they gaining altitude.
