They summited today! It was a challenging day, but they worked hard and stood at the top of the Americas.

Sebastián, the lead guide, called from the summit along with another group member.

They are spending the night at High Camp and tomorrow they will go down to Base Camp.

The team left the city this morning and went to the trailhead. They started the hike along the Horcones Valley and already got to Confluencia Camp.

The group, led by the guide Sebastián Satke, will spend the night there and tomorrow they will continue to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp.

This is one of our 12-day expeditions as they came here already pre-acclimatized, using our High Altitude Training System with the Hypoxico tent.

We share a pic of the team before leaving this morning and the photo below shows them at Confluencia Camp.
