Gino Casassa

Gino is Chilean PhD in Glaciology and Director of the Glaciological Department at the Magellan University in Punta Arenas, Chile. He has been climbing for more than 25 years. Gino has done probably more first ascents in the Andes than anyone. Has climbed extensively in the Himalayas, Alps, Antarctica, Patagonia and Central Andes. He guides ocassionally for Aventuras Patagonicas and has been a great asset to our company. Speaks English, Italian and Spanish.
