As we said in our first dispatch, this is a solid team; all seven climbers and two guides summited Mt. Aconcagua today, in a bright, clear day. Congratulations! The whole group stood at 22,834 ft, the highest point in the neiborhood (a high neiborhood, by the way) and they are back at camp now.
They will be going down to Plaza de Mulas tomorrow, to complete the Aconcagua traverse, in the best Aventuras Patagonicas tradition.
We are also proud to announce that this is our 13th summit of the season, out of 13 trips. This is a 100% success rate, when measured by groups and not by individuals.
Í will post yet one more dispatch, when the climbers reach the city. Stay tuned!
